Easy wake up
The sunrise
changes each day as we travel so we have to look at the clock to know where it
is between 5:30 am and 7.
Howard
Hughes
This was
today’s topic and I learned even more about this odd character who did so many
incredible things. The speaker adds many anecdotes to his stories and you get
some behind the scenes ideas about the individuals he discusses.
Trivia
Both am and
pm, it was only Ed and I. we didn’t win obviously but we did hold our own. For example,
on the afternoon session, we got 7 on our own, the same as the group of 6 next
to us. The winners only got 12. Now can we remember the answers for a next
time?
Lunch at
Panorama Grill. Nothing unusual to tell. Ed walked around the track a few laps
and I listened to the Economist.
Formal night
So we got
gussied up. Got formal portraits taken. And went to
Captain’s
party
A lady on
here has travelled over 2000 days with Princess. Amazing. We also found out how
to get cocktails at these parties with real liquor: sit near the bar area and
the staff notice you don’t have a drink and ask you what you want. Tha
margarita had real liquor in it.
Supper
Some special
dishes and as always very tasty good food. We brought one of the bottles of
champagne we won to share with the table so we were well liquored up by the end
of the meal.
Impersonator
Is the
entertainment. Not my thing. Sing songs in your own style please. But Ed likes
that sort of thing.
